Great Success of our Faculty Member Dr. Mehmet AKPINAR

            Our Department Instructor Dr. Instructor Mehmet Akpınar, whose member Mehmet Akpınar participated in the "Mediterranean University Anthem" composition competition, was the 1st among 51 works with his own composition with lyrics and music. At the award ceremony held in Antalya on April 16, 2018, Akdeniz University Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Ünal presented the 1st prize to our teacher.

In addition, our teacher "III. Nurten Anne (Father-themed) Children's Songs Composition Contest, among 41 works, won the Honorable Mention with her composition, whose lyrics and music belonged to her, and received her award at the ceremony held at Kocatepe University on April 21, 2018.

The piano accompaniments of both works are also provided by our Department, Dr. It was made by Faculty Member Selçuk Bilgin.
